To ensure your bulky waste is collected, place it on the curb before Monday morning. It's best to do this one day before the collection day—on Sunday in this case.
Generally, bulky waste is placed next to garbage containers on the curb.
Important: Do not block the containers!
‼ If the items you’re discarding are still in good condition and could be reused, consider adding them to the Stooping Map for Amsterdam.
Items listed here will be reposted on the Instagram account @stoopingmap where followers may pick them up before the collection truck arrives.
In some areas, bulky waste collection occurs twice a week:
For example, in this area, the collection happens on both Monday and Thursday.
In certain areas, like Amsterdam’s city center, there are no scheduled bulky waste collection days.
If you enter an address in the search field and see the following message:
This means you cannot leave bulky waste on the street. Instead, you’ll need to schedule a pickup, which is free of charge.
Alternatively, you can bring your bulky waste to a collection point, though locations may be inconvenient.
